Enhancing Outdoor Living Spaces with Native Plants

Virtual Workshop on choosing Native Plants for your yard

While we are stuck indoors this winter, also due to the continued issues of Covid-19., its nice to think of the spring planting season and in the Little Alamance Creek watershed some of the best plants to plant in your yard are our native species of plants.

Steve Windham, Founder of Root & Branch Gardens, will share some techniques for choosing native plantings that encourage food webs (interdependent food chains) based on the work of Doug Tallamy. He also will share how to select plants that fit your landscape and personal needs.
