The Piedmont Triad Regional Council announced on June 21, 2016 that they have hired Lindsey Lengyel as their new Stormwater SMART coordinator. The PTRC oversees the Stormwater SMART program that provides stormwater education throughout the Triad Region from their offices in Kernersville. The SMART program is based on direct education of school age children but also provides education to adult groups as well.
Lyndsey will join Americorps member Shalanda Grier in the SMART education and has already been working in the watershed with the City of Graham. Lyndsey and Shalanda joined Teresa Bobbitt of Alley, Williams, Carmen, and King, Inc. at the Graham Recreation Summer Camp.
